VALENCIA'S POV

"Everyone, Miss Valencia," The guards announced.

I took a deep breath, thankful that they stopped taking my surname because I had started to despise it. 

I looked ahead, everyone looking back at me with curiosity filling their gaze.

'Face the crowd like Luna's daughter,' Aurora said to motivate me, and I hummed.

It wasn't as if I was nervous either way. 

Blinking my eyes twice, I descended the first step, noticing how everyone started to make way for me, probably knowing I was headed straight toward the stage. 

With a soft smile lingering on my lips, I looked ahead confidently, holding my dress and descending another step.

"Please give me the honor," I heard a voice and looked to my right side at Carl, who had his hand extended.
