For the first couple of seconds, Rye could scarcely think of an appropriate response to reject the public offer of the crown prince.

Yet, she knew that staying behind after all the others might have left was a terrible idea. Her first impulse was to lie to him, and simply disappear and come up with a good excuse later on.

However, the more she stared at the friendly and amiable look he had on his face, the more she recalled how the expression was merely a mask.

"You're not going to respond?"

"I--I apologize your highness, but can you give me a couple of seconds to think about it?" She requested lowering her head to show her respect.

Argo instantly responded and he sounded not too pleased. "It's not something you need that much time to think of. I insist! There's an important--" Argo was still talking when he saw two ladies of the temple move to stand in front of him.
