The empty restaurant was enveloped in a warm yellow light that shrouded Jiang Xi, as she clenched her fingertips.
"Manager, may I know why?"
"Can't you see?" The manager was also anxious, speaking sharply, "Keep letting people book the place exclusively like this, and we'll lose all our customers."
Jiang Xi pursed her lips, "Then we can refuse the reservation for the exclusive booking."
"Refuse the booking, and we might as well close the doors for good." The manager practically shouted.
Jiang Xi quietly looked at the manager, her fingers clenched until they turned white, and she nodded, "I understand, I'll leave."
Seeing her agreement, his tone softened, "Miss Jiang, a talented person won't be buried anywhere. It's just that our place is too small for you."
Jiang Xi forced a smile, "Manager, may I know who made the exclusive booking to force me out?"
"You already have an idea, so why insist on seeking a clear answer?"
