Capítulo 44: Chapter 44: A date with a Archer

[3rd POV] [Mount Justice]
"A date?" Gwen asked, looking at Artemis with a raised eyebrow. Glancing at M'gann who had a smile on her face.
"Yep! Artemis wants to go on a date with you" M'gann said with a happy smile on her face.
"And you're okay with that?" Gwen asked, looking to M'gann with interest in her eyes. She knew that Mars was different in terms of romance and relationships, but she didn't think M'gann would be okay with something like this.
"I am. It's pretty common back on Mars. Multiple people being with the same person, I mean" M'gann replied with a nod, while Artemis was looking to the side, trying not to show just how nervous she was on her face.
"So do you want to go on a date with Artemis?" M'gann asked, looking to her girlfriend with interest, hoping she would say yes. It was pretty blatant that Artemis and Raven were attracted to Gwen, they just seemed afraid to even speak of it, knowing that she was taken.
Gwen went silent, looking at the approving M'gann, and the nervous Artemis. Before she smiled softly "I'd love to go on a date with you Artemis, how about we go right now? I've got nothing to do"
Artemis practically glowed at those words, a happy smile forming on her face as she nodded. "Where are we gonna go?"
"Hmm, how about Italy? There's some pretty good food spots I know down there" Gwen asked, looking to Artemis with a small smile, enjoying the excited look on the archers face.
"Do I need to dress up?" Artemis asked, slightly worried. She wasn't exactly rich or anything.
"Nope, it's more of a casual place" Gwen responded with a shake of her head. She didn't want to do anything too fancy, so as to not make the girl too nervous or anything. She also knew of Artemis's home life, and the fact that she was the daughter of Sportsmaster and sister to Cheshire.
"Well then, you two have fun!" M'gann said with a wide smile, happy for her friend, and that she was more than likely going to have a "sister".
Hearing the words of her girlfriend, Gwen chuckled as she softly grasped Artemis's hand as they walked off.
"Is this really okay? I know Megan said that it's normal on Mars, but...this feels like it shouldn't be okay" Artemisa asked softly, as they walked towards the Zeta-tube.
"M'gann's people are...unique. Especially when it comes to relationships and romance. I know her enough to know that she truly is okay with this. The real question is, are you?" Gwen asked, looking to Artemis who went silent.
"I am...it just feels...wrong? It feels like I'm using M'gann or something" Artemis said with a sigh.
"Trust me, you're not. M'gann, while she doesn't show it, is a good judge of character, and knows if she's being used or not. And you, Artemis, are not using her. She came to you about this, remember?"
"I-How did you know that?" Artemis asked in confusion, having not told Gwen that M'gann was the one to propose the idea.
"I'm smart like that" Gwen said with a teasing smirk, causing Artemis to roll her eyes but smile slightly nonetheless.
"Ready to go?" Gwen asked, standing in front of the Zeta-tube.
Artemis nodded in response, trying not to show her excitement for the date.
Seein this, Gwen smiled happily as she and Artemis walked through the Zeta-tube.

[A little while later, in Italy]
Walking through the streets of Italy were Gwen and Artemis. They were making there way to the restaurant they were planning on eating at.
"This place is...beautiful" Artemis said as she looked around, taking in the beautiful town they were in.
"That it is. And I'm glad you think so too" Gwen replied with a small smile, inwardly happy that Artemis liked the location of their date.
Walking to the restaurant, opened the door for Artemis "After you, milady" Gwen said exaggeratedly.
Artemis rolled her eyes with a smile, before walking in, Gwen following soon after.
The restaurant in question was a small, homey little place. It had a few other customers inside, but wasn't filled completely. Gwen found the place after traveling to Italy for one of her missions, and quite enjoyed te food here.
Walking to their table, the two sat down as they were handed a menu. "Wow these are...expensive" Artemis muttered, she had money, but some of the food at the restaurant was...not cheap.
"Hmm? Don't worry about that, I'm paying for everything. Pick whatever you want" Gwen said, waving off her worries.
"I can't make you do that, Gwen" Artemis said with a frown, as it didn't feel right to make Gwen pay for everything.
"You aren't making me pay for anything, love. Now, don't be stubborn and pick what you want" Gwen said, giving Artemis a look.
Artemis looked down at the menu, before finding one that looked interesting. With Gwen having already found the food she wanted.
Artemis ended up ordering Gnocchi.
Gwen got a simple, yet delicious risotto.
Sitting and waiting for their food, Artemis began to speak.
"What's it like?"
"What's what like?" Gwen asked.
"Having magic, the type of magic you have, I mean" Artemis asked, correcting herself.
"It's...different. Powerful, incredibly chaotic, but also comforting and...warm. It's hard to really explain it, to be honest" Gwen replied after thinking for a few moments.
"It has to be hard to control, doesn't it? Since it's the power of a Lord of Chaos and all" Artemis asked.
"At first? Hell yeah. It was literally killing me at one point, obliterating my very soul. But after I...made it submit to me, it's not all that hard to control anymore" Gwen said with a shrug.
"You almost died?!" Artemis yelled, shooting up. At the looks of the other customers, she quickly sat back down.
"You almost died?! Why the hell didn't you tell anyone?!" Artemis whisper yelled.
"Because it would cause panic. That, and I have it under control now, so I don't see why it matters that much" Gwen replied with a shrug,
"But you still could have told us!" Artemis said, not very happy with Gwen at that moment.
"I suppose I should have. But still, I had it under control Artemis, trust me" Gwen replied, looking into Artemis's eyes.
Artemis went silent for a few moments, before sighing and nodding "Fine, but next time tell me, please?"
"Of course" Gwen replied, a grin on her face.
After the food got to there table, the two began to munch on their tasty food.

[Hours Later]
After having some food, the two had continued traveling around the small town, and even other areas in Italy, having a blast. They continued to talk more about themselves, and learning more about eachother.
Currently they were walking side by side, hands intertwined with smiled on their faces. Artemis had just finished a small thing of gelato, which she was quite vocal about enjoying.
"This was amazing, Gwen, really" Artemis said, as they made their way to the Zeta-tube to return to the Mountain.
"I'm glad you liked it, Artemis" Gwen replied with a smile.
"So are...are we going to do this again?" Artemis asked, as they zeta-tubed back into the Mountain.
"Would you like that?" Gwen asked, looking to Artemis with a raised eyebrow. Inwardly hoping she'd say yes, having very much enjoyed her time with Artemis.
"I-I'd really like that" Artemis replied, stuttering slightly as pink dusted her cheeks.
Grinning Gwen moved forward and pecked her on the cheek, before speaking.
"I'd also like that very much"

Sorry about the rush towards the end, but I have something to do, but I still wanted to get a chapter out. That, and I don't really like writing dates, as I find it...both boring to write and hard to write.
Next chapter will be the next major event. With some more stuff happening then. Raven and Artemis will be going on some adventures of their own very soon. With Raven taking more and more of an active role in the team.
