It's been exactly five hours since Toji arrived back at the church, and during those five hours he's done nothing but slept with his sack of 137 thousand Valis.
But now he was woken up at the middle of the day by Hestia who was acting all giddy and excited, and was dragged across the city in a patch of grass near the monsterphilia.
"You're up to something aren't you..."
"E-Eh of course not!"
'Yeah with that amount of sweat sure...'
He agreed to go with Hestia at the premise of buying a weapon, but everytime they came near a blacksmiths shope she would make some random excuse to make sure they didn't go inside said shop.
Crunch.
"You're really up to something..."
"As I said I am not upto someth-
Before Hestia could finish her sentence a deafening roar interrupted her followed by the screams of people, Toji turn his eyes to a white ape like figure covered in chains and metal plates used for restraining.
"Silverback..."
Toji was prepared to take action as he took out the chain and dagger from his holster, but he quickly took notice of the Silverback not playing attention to any of the fleeing civilian's and had it's eyes in the Goddess beside him.
"Oh no you don't!"
Before the Silverback could move towards Hestia, Bell swung the chain in his hand in a motion similar to a whip. Normally no normal person would have the strength to make a chain act like a whip it was a feat only normal level twos could do, but Toji was used to fighting with a chain so it was easy for him.
So with the chain hitting the Silverback like a while the dagger at the end of it made contact with the Silverback's skin causing a gnash to appear but in return the dagger snapped in two, Toji seeing this could only get frustrated as once again the limitation of his weapons were holding him back.
'If only I had my cursed inventory!'
Toji was frustrated all the weapons he had gather throughout the years were inside the curse he had 'raised', but here in this new world he didn't have it so all he could do was make do with everything he currently had.
"Alright you big monkey, come at me!"
Toji was about to rush in with his bare hands before someone grabbed his arm, said someone was Hestia who was shaking in fear. He couldn't help but click his tongue but knowing how she was practically useless and couldn't fight he had to bring her somewhere safe before fighting the Silverback.
"B-Bell?"
"Hang on, I need to get you somewhere safe."
Picking up Hestia all of the sudden made the Goddess blush, she was having all sort sof fantasies Toji didn't want to know about as he began running from the Silverback who roared and chased after them.
The Silverback was a monster similar to the minotaur, it wasn't faster or stronger but due to its build It was way more durable and since it needed the strength to carry it's big body it had more stamina.
"ROAR!-"
The Silverback chased after them throwing everything that came in it's path to the side, from unlucky civilians to carts filled with produce. Toji didn't know why it had it's eyes set on Hestia but he could guess that it was because she was a Goddess as it was no secret that monsters instinctively hate any Divine being more than the average adventurer.
'Crap I'm still tired after the dungeon dive, God I hate this body.'
Unlike his normal body that made him the strongest non-sorcerer in his world, this body worked differently sure it had the same Heavenly Restriction but it followed the rules of this world. So even if he was stronger than any normal level one he didn't have the capacity to fight for more than twenty-four hours and not get tired, if he was sent into this world with his original body and arsenal he could take care of the Silverback with a single swing or punch for the matter.
His current body was just that weak, at this age he was able to kill grade two curses but if he were to fight one in this body he would have a hard time.
"Bell look out!"
Toji hearing Hestia's warning dodge a barrel thrown by the Silverback, but it didn't stop there more barrels were thrown at them forcing Toji to weave and dodge them and thanks to this it gave the Silverback the opportunity to get closer to Toji.
But Toji had finally arrived at his destination, a tall wall around twenty feet separating the shopping district and the main city. Using one of the loose bricks as a step he leaped up the wall before spotting a cart filled with hay and Hestia seeing this looked at Toji with wide eyes.
"Bell dont-"
But it was too late as Toji had already threw her at the cart, the hay broke her fall but Hestia still made a yelp of pain. Toji looked behind him to see the Silverback charging at the wall he took the broken dagger from the chain and jumped down landing safely as he was now standing Infront of the Silverback.
"HU! HU! HU!"
"Tsk, you really are an annoying monkey."

I don't get why people use japanese honorifics in fanfiction that aren't set in a Japanese world, this is the reason why you don't see any Sama or San in any of the dialogue here.
Toji is Assassin/Hitman so it would make sense for him to know English right?, So until a certain god from the east shows up or anyone from the east shows up don't expect any japanese honorifics until then.
Rewatching the anime is a pain, I forgot how annoying Bell is for a few episodes like jesus-

"Monkey on Monkey, this is something I never expected..."
Toji gripped the broken dagger in his hands and swung the chain around rapidly causing wind to stir up, he was thinking of every possible way to kill the Silverback quickly without causing any property damage since it would be a hassle to pay for.
'Here it comes.'
Toji watched as the Silverback began to run towards him while slamming it's fist to the ground each step it made causing small craters to form, it swung it's left arm to try and quickly kill Toji.
But the Sorcerer Killer had other plans as he wrapped narrowly dodge it's fist before wrapping the chains he had around it's left forearm, the Silverback tried using it's strength to pull Toji expecting what it assumed to be a slightly strong insect but was surprised when it couldn't even budge the chain as Toji began to pull with all his might.
Skrrrrt-
Slowly the Silverback was lifted off it's feet and started to be swung in a circle by Toji, he didn't intend to just throw the Silverback away so it wouldn't be his problem. No he knew that if he were to kill it no one would get mad at him as it was a rogue monster that likely escaped captivity from the Monsterphilia Event, so killing the Silverback meant he would get rewarded thanks to its core and compensated due handling a danger monster that could've potentially killed his Goddess.
So as he spun on around in a circle Toji stopped and pulled it towards with so much force the Silverbacks arm started bleeding, he grabbed the dagger at the end of the chain and intended to stab the Silverback using the momentum he made so his low tier dagger could pierce it's skin.
PUUCHI-
"ROAAA-"
"Quit your yapping."
Toji pulled the dagger off the Silverbacks chest and as expected despite piercing it's skin, it broke the dagger to the point only an inch of the blade remained on the hilt but despite this Toji use it to stab the Silverback in the face multiple times blinding it.
He dashed away quickly to avoid getting injured but was a second later as he got sent flying to the wall separating the district, and with a bang his back met the cold stone and made a hole in the wall the second he got injured Toji had already figured out his injuries.
"Tsk, four broken bones and a dislocated shoulder..."
He got up from the rubble and looked around to see that people had already started running away, he forcefully moved his shoulder using his muscles causing it to realign itself as he started to walk towards the hole but stopped when the figure of a now one eye Silverback with a shredded face came out of the other side.
"Oh, are you pissed?
Toji looked around to find anything he could use as a weapon, his eyes landed on a hoe with a wooden handle near a gardening store. People may think of a hoe as a useless farming tool but what they don't get was that it's sharp and though edge that was meant to not be chipped even when it hit stones made it durable.
"I guess this will do..."
He grabbed a pair gardening shovels with sharp edges and snapped it on to his belt and turned around to meet the fist of the Silverback inches away from his face, just in time he was able to step to the side and use the hoe to to carve a chunk of the Silverback's flesh off causing it to roar in anger.
"You're starting to sound like a few Jujusu Sorcerers I killed, all the yapping and screaming when getting Injured."
The Silverback tried to back hand Toji to only be stabbed with a garden shovel at its elbow, Toji twisted the shovel causing it to go in deeper and with a pull blood spilled all over while the Silverback's hand went limp.
Toji didn't stop his advance as he swung the hoe at the Silverback's face causing a good half of it to get scraped off, but unfortunately for Toji the hoe snapped off the handle only leaving him with a slightly spiky piece of wood he used to stab the Silverback back in where assumed it's liver is located.
He was right as the Silverback recoiled in pain clutching it's side, he looked at the broken chain and singular garden shovel in his hands before looking back at the Silverback.
'Damn it I don't wanna damage its core for the money, but I can't last any longer with just this crap!'
Toji had half the mind to just charge in and take out the Silverback barehanded but currently with his fatigue, broken back bones, and weak body he was getting tired.
Not tired enough to die Ina second but tired enough to likely get more injured, and since potions didn't work on him he couldn't heal quickly if he arms got snapped in half or he breaks too many ribs but as if for once in his life luck was on his side.
"Bell!"
Toji turned to see Hestia running at him while hugging something tightly, and from way he could see it was a dagger in a black scabbard. Seeing it he couldn't help but smirk at how his apparent low and garbage level luck gave him something good for once.
"Hestia throw it!"
"Mhm!"
Hestia with all her strength threw the dagger at Toji, he leap towards it dodging a frenzied strike from the Silverback who was still clutching it's side in pain and grabbed it mid air. He pulled the dagger from it's sheath revealing the blade to be similar to a straight cleaver, but as Toji held it in his hands he felt something deep within the dagger and all of a sudden black and blue ooze started to drip off the blade changing it's shape and form.
"Isn't this-"
Now the dagger in his hand changed it's shaped into something Toji was familiar with, it was an exact copy of the inverted spear of heaven just with a black colored blade and red grip. And it's flat edge was the symbol of the Hestia Familia.
"It worked!"
Hestia on the ground witnessed the whole weapons change, it took her a wholee six hours of being in a Kowtow position to convince her fellow Goddess Hephaestus to forge the weapon.
"You told me how your child couldn't use due to a skill and giving a level one a Oricalchum weapon would hinder his growth, so I made this out of a high grade adamantite."
Hephaestus took a look at the blade in her hand as she smiled
"Since he can't use magic at all, thanks to your Hair and Ichor this weapon is technically a part of your familia as it is alive..."
"Alive!?"
"Yup alive, a special weapon like this not only grows with the user but depending on different circumstances morphs itself to the perfect weapon for the said user."
And Hestia had just witnessed the dagger change itself to a weapon she's never seen before, a weapon that Toji was well familiar with as it was one of the weapons he stole from his family vault.
He spun the blade in his hand as he landed on the ground, he was smirking everything about it was perfect from basic aesthetics like the grip to little pieces of loose wrapping that fit his hand perfectly as if he's been using the dagger for years.
WHOOOSH-
He dashed towards the Silverback with his dagger held in a reverse grip, the Silverback seeing the foe who had injured him so much with a new weapon worried it. Yet despite the warning of his instincts he didn't run but instead charged towards Toji.
Yet that was what it's greatest mistake was, as the very second it even got close Toji had already killed it with a quick stab to the head all the Monsters saw before dying was the ever present grin of his killers face.
