Capítulo 48: I Should Wait

Although Liu Xinyu strongly resisted working in front of the camera, she was still okay with working as a stunt double for the female lead of this movie. The movie that the crew was shooting was a crime story with the male lead being the police officer and the female lead being part of the underworld. 

With such contrasting identities, the attraction they felt for each other was nothing more than calamitous. Investigating a murder case with a romantic plot between the male lead and the female lead made for a thrilling story filled with exciting plot points. One standing up for the light of justice and the other being a part of the dark world, they could never merge together. So, even if the romantic part of the storyline was impeccable, it was still filled with a sad undertone which left anyone with a bitter taste.
