Capítulo 79: AWAKENED POWER

We spent the entire evening testing the new powers and planning my next week's schedule so that we did not get surprised visits from the royal family members. We went to bed hours later with Silas and Talon leaving the chambers. It was in the middle of the night when I was woken up by a jolt on the bed. I opened my eyes and found a thrashing Lord Niko his body was radiating in coldness and heat at the same time. I shook him and his eyes opened and his eyes had turned golden.

" Get away from me Cedric " He rasped.

" Why?" I asked as I got on top of him and placed my hands on his chest. His body was on fire and his mind excluded coldness. I could not understand how that was possible.

" It happens only once a year when my body changes to heat and I usually prepare Ice baths to subdue the heat." He explained desperately as his hands clutched the bedding.
