Karen was not in a hurry to find a seat. Instead, she stared at Caroline with a smug smile.
"Miss Simons, you've always been very considerate. You wouldn't mind my tardiness, right?"
After saying that, she walked towards an empty seat as she swayed her thin waist.
Everyone else was furious at her for acting so arrogantly. They prayed in their hearts that Caroline would stand up to her.
They had been stepped on by Karen for too long, and they desperately wanted someone to stand up for them. They were hoping for Caroline to do it.
Caroline looked at Karen with a faint smile on her face. She remained calmed and watched Karen in silence.
Caroline didn't speak until Karen grabbed a chair and sat down.
"Personally, I don't think being late is a big deal. But I did give everyone three minutes to prepare, right? I'm pretty sure that's enough time for everyone," she explained.
