Capítulo 311: 311: Give me a reason

"Can someone tell me what I am doing here? Where is our crown prince? He was the one who called for me to come here."

Grand Duke Lucius asked in a calm voice. 

He found himself in a lonely room devoid of any signs of life. The silence was deafening, starkly contrasting to the bustling palace he was accustomed to. This was not the grand reunion he had envisioned with the crown prince.

"The crown prince apologies for this inconvenience, but he had to step out for a second to take care of some things. He said that we need to keep you entertained during your visit."

The maid in charge informed the Grand Duke of the orders she had been giving.

Anger and annoyance were apparent on his face; that was where other servants came in with their bribes.

"I heard that you like this drink, grand Duke. So, we prepared it brand new and fresh for you. I hope you will enjoy its flavour."
