"President, I've brought Su Yang-senpai," Koneko announced, her eyes still glistening with a hint of tears. However, Rias Gremory's attention was entirely focused on Su Yang.
"Thank you, Koneko. You must be Su Yang. I'm Rias Gremory, the president of the Occult Research Club and a devil," the crimson-haired girl introduced herself, extending her hands towards Su Yang.
"It seems we're meeting again, President Rias. I'm already quite familiar with the devil world," Su Yang smiled as he shook her hand. As one of the school's top beauties and the top student, they had naturally known of each other.
"Oh my, Yang-kun, here's some tea," a beautiful girl with a single ponytail walked over, her most noticeable feature being her ample chest.
"Thank you, Akeno-senpai. As the head of the Tea Ceremony Club, I didn't expect to taste tea made by you personally," Su Yang complimented.
"Oh my, thank you for the praise, junior," Akeno Himejima said with a smile, touching her face lightly.
"I'm Yuuto Kiba, also a devil," Yuuto introduced himself with a friendly smile.
"Nice to meet you, Kiba. I'm Su Yang, just a regular human," Su Yang replied, raising an eyebrow slightly. He was surprised that Yuuto's introduction had triggered three tasks for him.

"A regular human? Yang-kun, aren't you being too modest? You managed to fend off Kuroka, someone even the Underworld's enforcement team can't capture," Rias remarked, sipping her tea. She knew she hadn't interacted much with Su Yang, but she had heard about him and Sona being closer.
Her goal was to recruit Su Yang as her servant before Sona could. Su Yang's awakened heroic bloodline and ability to repel Kuroka made him an ideal candidate.
"I was just running away constantly. Of course, she couldn't catch me," Su Yang admitted. He knew he wasn't a match for Kuroka unless he was prepared to be incapacitated for a while.
"Yang-kun, since you understand the devil world, I'll be direct. I need your strength. I hope you can become my servant," Rias said, her blue eyes filled with determination. She was desperate to avoid marrying the scumbag Riser Phenex, known for his harem of female servants and rotten personality.
No way would she marry him! Even if she had to win a Rating Game to reclaim her freedom, strong servants were essential. Knowing Su Yang's potential made him the best candidate.
"Become a servant? Does that mean becoming a devil, President Rias?" Su Yang asked, narrowing his eyes. He had already checked his internal energy during class. Despite using six pawn pieces and a rook and knight piece, the amount of magic was still limited.
He estimated that he would need a whole truckload of Evil Pieces to convert himself into a devil, and that's if he even agreed to it. If he didn't want to, he could always use the power of **Krishna**, also known as **Black Krishna**, to absorb all the magic and convert it into pure spiritual energy.
Krishna, also referred to as "Kṛṣṇa" or "Black Krishna," translates to "black" in Sanskrit. As the Supreme Personality of Godhead, his name signifies his ability to attract everything because black can absorb all colors of the spectrum.
Theoretically, he could indeed absorb a truckload of Evil Pieces, converting them to boost his strength significantly. However, he didn't have access to that many Evil Pieces to begin with.
Rias frowned slightly upon hearing Su Yang's question. It seemed that he was quite resistant to becoming a devil.
"That's right, becoming my servant means becoming a devil. But don't misunderstand, Yang-kun," Rias said. "Modern devils aren't like the ones in human legends. We don't collect human souls as sacrifices or start wars at random."
"Yes, I know that. Rias-senpai is a perfect example of a new-generation devil," Su Yang replied with a smile.
"I'm glad you understand that, Yang-kun. So, about becoming my servant?" Rias pressed on.
"Well..." Su Yang hesitated for a moment.
"Becoming my servant has many benefits. Not only will you have the protection of a Maou, but you'll also have access to the training facilities of the Gremory family," Rias continued. "Other perks include various resources and living conditions. Although you might not be interested in those, I'll mention them anyway."
"The Gremory family has hundreds of thousands of square kilometers of territory. As the next head of the Gremory family, my servants will enjoy significant privileges..."
Rias began to list out the benefits enthusiastically. Since she didn't have a strong personal connection with Su Yang, she resorted to offering him enticing incentives to gain his agreement and facilitate his reincarnation as a devil.
Su Yang's moment of hesitation had a simple reason: he had just triggered a valuable reward from Rias.
