Capítulo 39: Going Shopping

Ross chuckled. He promised, "Don't worry. I won't go anywhere." 

Yonah was satisfied with his reply.

"Good night, Kuya Ross…" She mumbled in her sleep. Then, she felt a warm kiss on her forehead but could no longer fight the exhaustion. 

"Good night, sweet Nana."

Two days later…

"Hey, Ross Michael!"

"Joelle Chen, how are you, man? Congratulations on having a twin, by the way."

Bumping knuckles at each other, the cosmetic surgeon beamed. Seeing the happiness reflecting in Joelle's eyes, Ross could not hide his envy. 

As more of his friends have families, he dreams of having his own, including the birth of his children to the woman he loves.

Having this thought, Ross glanced at Yonah inside the VIP ward, then shifted his attention to Joelle, who said,

"Thanks, my friend! I'm grateful you agreed to fly all the way here for the treatment."
