80% Garp the Fist / Chapter 3: I'll take one

Capítulo 3: I'll take one

(3rd Person POV)

*BOOM*

Garp's fist smashed into the pirate's face. He was currently on Kuraigana Island where the Shikkearu Kingdom was located. A group of pirates thought it was smart to attack a kingdom that was paying money to the World Government.

*BOOM*

Normally that would result in a quick response of the Navy, since the World Government loves its money and someone who attacks that money, or the sources of that money, are to be killed on the spot.

*BOOM*

"Uck!"

Most kingdoms in the world have an army or some form of defensive force that protects them against the pirates or stalls them until the Marines arrive.

*CRACK*

"ARRHH!"

But Shikkearu Kingdom is a bit special in that regard. They do indeed have an army, a very impressive one for that matter, but they see themselves as much higher than the rest of the world. Though it isn't official, as that would mean death, they even see themselves as higher than the Celestial Dragons.

*BOOM* *BOOM*

Kuraigana Island holds a lot of resources and they have a lot of professions that process these resources, making them a very rich country. This is also why the World Government is rather fond of them as a source of money. But they're not the only ones. All the time, a pirate group would appear and attack and pillage the kingdom for their recourses.

*CRACK* *BOOM*

"Kuuh!"

So when a pirate crew attacked them, they didn't send out their forces to fight, no. Not the Shikkearu Kingdom. They were too good for that. They called the Marines and 'asked' for help. It happened so many times, that the World Government, decided to create a Marine branch in the area, to react faster.

*BOOM*

And right now, it was Garp who was dealing with the Pirate problem. It had been a few months already since Garp began to sail with Rear Admiral Compton in Paradise. During that time, Garp had grown much more powerful and he was trying to achieve Haki on his own. There weren't that many people who could challenge him on the Rear Admiral's ship.

The only two that could, were the Commodore and the Rear Admiral himself. Although the Commodore had trouble, it usually resulted in a draw between them. So it was decided that the wrecking ball that was Monkey D. Garp, should be unleashed on Pirates.

*BOOM*

"ARGH!"

So Garp was sailing on his own, getting calls from Rear Admiral Compton and then catching pirates where Compton told him to. This leads us to this moment right here.

.

.

(Garp POV)

*BOOM*

"Argh! Marine bastard!", the pirate screams. I don't answer him and just punch him again.

*BOOM*

*Bang*

I dodge a bullet and move away using 'Soru'. I have become extremely proficient in using the Rokushiki. I use them without thinking anymore and since they are physically demanding, I grew more powerful while using them.

'Tekkai'

*BOOOM*

'Rankyaku'

*SHING*

'Tobu Shigan' 'Tobu Shigan' 'Tobu Shigan'

*BOOM* *BOOM* *BOOM*

Blood splashes around as my compressed shockwaves hit their bodies. The power of my fingers is truly frightening. And my Tekkai might as well be the initial stages of Busoshoku Haki. But I know that Haki is more powerful when mastered. And I want to master it, but my merit points don't suffice. And I don't think they ever will.

'Kami-e'

I dodge a sword slash and then kick the pirate in the face, shooting him into another one.

*BOOM*

The reason why I say this is because of my fighting style. Whenever I fight, there is quite a bit of property damage. I make sure to protect innocents and not involve them in my fights, but I have a terrible reputation for destroying property while fighting. I make sure not to destroy the houses of normal civilians though. This is done on purpose and we will see why later on.

*BOOM* *BOOM*

"Haaa haaa ... huu, that was good.", I say after punching the last pirate. I am breathing a bit raggedly but after a moment, I take a deep breath and calm my beating heart somewhat. If I wanted, I wouldn't have to ever be exhausted. But for training, I turn off this particular power. I grow faster, when there is more at stake. I can feel myself healing already. Thankfully, due to another one of my 'superpowers' my healing factor is growing to be faster.

I am immortal but my immortality doesn't come with a breathtaking healing factor. I did have one, but not enough to regenerate lost limbs or something like that. But it is growing the more I have to heal and the more damage I take over time. Quite cool.

.

I look up and see a group of people, all dressed in fine and pompous clothes approach me. There are four guards, holding spears and shields and one thin one, that looks like some government official. I can tell that I won't care about them. And when the thin one speaks with that high-pitched voice, it makes me want to punch him.

"~Oh good Marine. We are pleased that you managed to defeat these dirty and disgusting low-lifes so swiftly. They have become more daring recently and have forgotten their place underneath our shoes. Just make sure to clean up before you leave again. We don't like filth in our streets.

King Hosnbodn has requested your presence. If you follow us, we will lead you to him.~", the man says with a fake smile.

"Will there be food?", I ask him, causing him to stop in his tracks.

"~Pardon? Food? I am sure there will be some food in the kitchen for you to ... enjoy. If that is what you wish?~"

"Alright. Lead the way."

I follow the small party towards the big castle. The extravagance is impressive around here. Even the normal workers have an arrogant air to them. Must be nice to enjoy such riches. If I were a pirate, I would also rob these people. There is so much to get here and these aren't likeable people at all. Nevermind that. I guess I'll get something to eat out of all this trouble. They should have a lot of good food, I suppose.

We walked through the palace and the man leading me began to talk about all sorts of things. How great the Shikkearu Kingdom was, how much the walls cost, how great the Shikkearu Kingdom was, what sort of goods they exported and sold to earn all of their money, how great the Shikkearu Kingdom was, how wise the king was and of course how great the Shikkearu Kingdom was. I stopped listening after he opened his mouth and only passively picked some things up here and there.

"We're here, Mr. Marine. Your getup is horrendous but it will have to do for now. Please wait here for a moment until I call you. After that you may enter this door here, understood?", he asks.

"Sure sure."

So I waited there for a moment until I heard him speak. I think he called me. I grab the handle of the door and pull.

*KKRBOOOOM*

A moment later, I hold the broken door in my hands ... this wasn't even intentional this time. I look around and since I am very sneaky, I hide the rest of the door, behind a big plant that stands next to the door. No one will notice.

I walk in and suddenly stand in front of some sort of gathering. Everyone is looking at me. To my right are many people with fancy dresses looking at me with disgust and to my left, sits the king or something on a throne. What an ugly man that was. And to think that he could be arrogant with a visage like that. The king is a rotund man with large lips and a large nose that is slightly reddened at the tip. He has light shoulder-length hair, a short dark beard, and a neat dark moustache. He wears a crown, a light cravat, and a dark royal uniform. In his hand, he holds some sort of sceptre I think and if I didn't know any better, I would say he had a stroke, the way his face looks right now.

"So you're the king of this place or something?", I ask him with my hands in my pockets.

"What is this Stanley? Is this the barbarian that defeated those pirates? He looks like a child still and he has no respect for me. I am revolted that the Navy has fallen to this level.", the little shit says. I am quickly losing the last drops of interest I have. If I don't get something to eat any time soon, I'll punch a wall and then leave this dump.

"So what about that food we were talking about? Where is it?", I ask him.

"Food? What is this about food Stanley?"

"You see your most fabulous Majesty. I had promised to provide some nourishment if he followed your summons.", Stanley says.

"What?! He would dare to make demands when I have given him the honour of being summoned by me?! How outrageous!!", the small man seemed to turn red like a tomato. I am gaining interest again.

"*Whisper* Yes your most gracious Majesty, but he is a ruffian that has taken out all those pirates on his own. Even if his disgusting muscles are seen and he stinks, I thought it smart not to anger the Marines when they sent us someone like him.", Stanley whispered.

"BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA so you like my muscles Stanny. I'm sorry but I don't like men. You should eat more, you look like a bean sprout or another type of vegetable that I forgot the name of. Bwahahahaha."

"Wh-WHAT?! I am not a bean sprout at all. And my name is Stanley, not Stanny.", he the vegetable seems to turn red as well.

"Bwahahahaha, whatever Stringy."

"Huhuhuhuhu you are amusing ruffian. Very well, I shall give you some food. There should be some food in the kitch- what are you doing?!"

"Ea-ing ... isch gud fud ...", I say with a full mouth. After he had said the word food, I simply began eating from the large table where some feast had been set up. And I have to say, it is indeed good food. I simply sat down and started to stuff my face full with the food. After looking at me with disgust, the other nobles or whatever they were, reluctantly sat down as well. But they kept two seats free next to me.

"Well Mr. Marine, have you already seen our marvellous Kingdom?", a woman who sat a few seats down asked me.

"No.", I said with a full mouth, which earned me a disgusted look from her.

"Eh ... w-well, you should. Kuraigana is home to some marvellous sights that can only be found here."

"Uh wuh huuiohuu"

"I beg your pardon?"

*GULP*

"I said what sort of things?"

"Oh, well we are known for a lot of things, but the most remarkable is our wildlife. Did you know that Shikkearu Kingdom is home to a species of highly intelligent mandrills, called Humandrills?"

"Really?"

"Yes. They are so intelligent in fact that they can copy human behaviour. They have copied the way we process our metals and how we farm. They are our kingdom's national treasures."

"Hm ... and they can copy anything? Anything you do, they can copy as well?"

"Indeed. They are fabulous creatures."

"Can I see them?"

.

"So that's them?", I ask Stinky as he leads me to the place where the Humandrills are located. These guys can be very useful and an idea comes to mind. I could use one of these to train with on the way. What better way to deal with those boring times sailing when I could train with one of them? Ok, I have decided.

I walk towards the biggest one of them. He looks at me and I look at him and then ...

*Yoink*

*BOM*

I knock him out and throw him over my shoulder. And then, I run away. Better to take my leave before someone notices my heist.

"WH-WHAT ARE YOU DOING!!!??? BARBARIAN! RUFFIAN! INSOLENT!!", I hear the bean sprouts shouting behind me. I guess I wasn't as sneaky as I thought.

"BWAHAHAHAHA, thanks for the food Stingy. Tell the short fat king I said goodbye."
