The hallway was a mess, with blood and viscera littering the interiors.

"So that's what you meant by the pendant," Yiexha awkwardly commented. She probably saw what transpired in detail with her precise eyes, but couldn't really quite catch it since her Ohrmancy wasn't the best all around. "I apologize for not pressuring that sooner, Yroa."

"It's fine," Yroa lightly groaned. "Fortunately, I didn't see the same tricks attached to us, nor did I recall something similar that was attached to Azel."

Did Yroa feel guilt about failing to save Layla's life. 

He felt like he should be, but seeing that there was no connection and transaction of feelings and memories between the two of them, the lass' death felt rather insignificant in contrast to all of the numerous cycles of death and tortures that he experienced and saw on other sinners in his time in Hell.
