Capítulo 18: A show

And at the center of it all, Suzanne stood. Calm. Controlled. Watching. As the crowd watched, Andrei's voice cut through the mall's tense atmosphere. "Josie," he said, his tone sharp and controlled, "Suzanne is my wife. You have no right to speak to her in this manner." He continued, even though he knew that he'd apologize to her later, he still had to stand his ground. 

Since Josie was foolish enough to bring their private drama in public, he had to for once, put her in her place. 

There was no way that he wouldn't defend Suzanne, it was bad for business. 

Since Diana's death and the scandals that followed, he had worked really hard to stabilize his business and regain his public image, but Josie was trying to bring to nothing all his efforts.
