Capítulo 10: A bridge of agreement

Andrei had never seen Rose before so seeing her in his house without any prior notice was definitely something to be bothered about.

"Hello Mr Andrei" Rose said as she adjusted her clothes. Suzanne stared at her for a while then went on to introduce her friend.

"This is Rose, my friend from college. Rose, meet Andrei Runt my…"

"Her husband" he rudely interrupted Suzanne and stretched his hand to shake her friend. They both exchanged pleasantries and shortly after that, he went upstairs while Suzanne continued her chit chat with her friend Rose completely ignoring that he was back 

From the look on Andrei's face, it was obvious that he wasn't happy to see Rose in his house but he just kept his cool. Andrei's footsteps echoed on the stairs, each step deliberate and measured. His mind raced with questions about Rose's sudden appearance. Something about her presence felt off, like an unexpected draft in a carefully sealed room.
