My new baby, the automata neutrino bullets, really does its job! Thanks to the Etheric Colossus, I've leveled up to the extent that my Titanic Ravager can now use SMGs too. Man, I really love this module!
The energy barrier is called a one-way shield, meaning objects from one side can penetrate, but anything from the hostile side can't enter past it. "Fire!!!"
As Lorenzo commanded, different types of firepower were thrown at the Xylothoraxes, but to no avail. They were hardly damaged, let alone killed.
The shooting was repeated several times, but only minor damage was inflicted.
"Don't panic! We have the Energy Barrier! Make sure to take them down as they try to destroy it!"
When Lorenzo finished speaking, a huge giant-like creature about 4.2 meters tall, using its thrusters as bio-electric propulsion, "BOOOAMMMM!!" collided against the energy barrier.
'Not good, a gamma Xylothorax!'
The vibration sent all the shooters on the first line into disarray and confusion. 'This is really bad!'
"BOOOOAMMM!!"
Tuning my thrusters to maximum, I changed my coordinates to a suitable zone. [Locking...Locking...Locked!]
"Go!!"
My avalanche spread through the vacuum in a split second, turning the gamma Xylothorax into space debris.

"Shooters, fall back! Prepare for close combat! Soldiers, draw your plasma weapons!"
At his command, I understood why Vanguard Array fell in the game. 'Instead of using cruiser ships to bombard the enemies, he is waiting until the energy barrier is destroyed!'

With my support, there were no deaths, but there were many seriously wounded. Despite temporarily repelling them, the lack of cheers is because we're worried about the next attack.

General Lorenzo, huh. Coming to greet me shortly after the battle, that's quite energetic.
"I didn't do much."
"No, that's not true. Without a doubt, you contributed the most in today's battle."
Being praised feels good, but being told, "You stood out," is bittersweet. Well, if standing out means being the top contributor in battle, then it's within acceptable limits.
It's better than becoming a monster or a hero or something like that.
With a nod of thanks, he said, "More importantly..."
"We should commend the soldiers and ensure they get some rest," I interrupted him. I really can't miss out on those huge experience points.

Getting into my mecha, I made my way to the transit bridge; however, instead of going to the passenger ship, I headed towards the side of one of the Caliburn's siblings. 'It's right here, the blind spot!'
Titanic Ravager, the mecha my father gave me when I was born. In this world, Mechas are like one's lifeline. As you level up, you can evolve your Mechas too.
Since I'm roughly level 90 now, Titanic Ravager has also had many upgrades thanks to my abundant ME.
[Proton Blockers are turned on!]
My AI commented as the Titanic Ravager disappeared from the radar of the Caliburn. Propelling my thrusters out of the energy barrier, I pushed the bright blue button on the upper panel.
[Stellar convergence mode has been activated!]
[Advanced FTL drivers have been installed! Hydrospace energy is at maximum!]
[Do you want to hyperdrive?]
'Haaahh! Cool! Now, this is what you call living the life of James Bond!'

'Beautiful!'
I am not a physicist, so I can't guess the speed Titanic Ravager is traversing through the lonely space; however, the scenery outside was just beautiful. I could have never experienced something like this if I hadn't been reincarnated as Ryker!
After about three minutes of travel, a sudden halt caught my attention. Peering out, I saw an even more attractive planet, as if carved out of ice, and one of its moons brimming with life.
[Destination reached!]
Glacierwood, the habitable moon of the Zener system, but being occupied by the deadly Xylothoraxes.
"Let's go and kill some of them on their home turf!!" I smiled as I modulated my spaceship into the dense atmosphere of the satellite.
[Initiating Dive...]
'Here I come, my enemies!'
