After dinner with the boys, Henry retired to one of the guest rooms, but not without telling us a little bit of information he had about Alan.

There was a time when Henry was Luca's driver when he was in college, and that's how he got to know Alan, as the only friend Luca had.

After a few speculations on who Alan would be, Angelo volunteered to dig up more information concerning him.

Although I noticed Shyin was quite absent-minded during the whole discussion, I decided to have a word with him after the others left.

"Shyin, wait behind; I need to have a word with you." I called out as he was about to leave the living room. He turned back, giving a confused look at first, but reluctantly agreed to wait behind.

I studied him for a while as he made himself comfortable on the sofa opposite mine. "You've spoken to Luca, haven't you?" I asked without any form of doubt in my voice.
