At this the door opened loudly, revealing a very haggard Victoire. Her eyes were red, obviously just from crying, and she sent him her most heartbreaking glare.

"Thaddeus! How much more do you want to humiliate me?"

The man looked at her coldly, looking at the haggard Harold and a few security personnel right behind her. He sighed. While he gave instructions to stop people from disturbing him, how much could they do against the Sterling princess a.k.a. His nominal wife? 

"How could you do this to your own wife?!" She sobbed, her tears began to flow again. Most men would find this sight heartbreaking, while Thaddeus felt nothing. 

How many calls did she have this morning? 'Oh Victoire! What's wrong with your husband?' or 'Is the woman really beautiful?' 

They sounded concerned but she knew they were laughing at her! 

"I don't have the energy to talk to you, Victoire."

"I AM YOUR WIFE!"
