I have seen dragons rise and fall. Riders, rise and fall. Witches, rise and fall. But what I have never seen is someone who managed to rise and fall, rise again.

Vinnandra, the girl with an unclear surname will surely be my undoing. What I feel for her is barely a percent of what I felt for my Zal, and yet I'm afraid that I, a creature who have stood tall in the sands of time shall succumb to her ultimate bidding.

The sun was finally falling, the evidence of the coming to an end of a torturously long day. And while normally it would have a time for people to recede and rest, the atmosphere Vinnandra found herself in was hardly peaceful, and describing it as chaotic seemed to be an understatement of the decade.
