Capítulo 49: Witch-Spy Itah

Marenda looked pissed. In fact, she was pissed, although she didn't look to be sure of what it was exactly she was pissed at.

Was it the fact that two young witches that didn't look to be more than twenty had somehow managed to penetrate the wards that she single handedly reinforced every week? Or was it the fact that all of a sudden, it felt like she was seeing a lot about her previous home than she was comfortable with.

Marenda stared hard at the ward she built around the two tied up witches. Assured that there was no inkling of weakness to the barriers, she addressed Zephyr who had instead been observing her work.

"Alakan has to be here." Marenda said as she kept observing the tied up witches who looked like they were entirely out of their minds. Their eyes were unfocused, a symptom of a hypnosis spell. But she wasn't yet too sure of that.
