It was done. 

Later, the gentle hum of the elevator filled the air as Zenith ascended to her floor, her mind preoccupied with thoughts of the day's events.

Stepping out into the corridor, she strode purposefully towards her room, a familiar sense of comfort washing over her as she reached for the door handle.

However, the moment her door swung open, Zenith's keen eyes narrowed in on the emptiness that greeted her.

Frowning slightly, Zenith stepped further into her room, her gaze sweeping over the neatly organized space that now felt strangely devoid of life.

Her belongings remained undisturbed, yet there was a palpable absence that she couldn't quite place.

Instinctively, Zenith reached for her phone, dialing Emi's number. It rang just once before Emi's voice filled the line, her tone casual yet tinged with curiosity.

"Hey, Zen. What's up?"

"You forgot to steal my shit." 

"What?" Emi sounded perplexed.
