Upon closer inspection, one could find an abundance of Eastern elements. Atop white churches often stood golden auspicious clouds and Mysterious Bird patterns, while angels had transformed from their original bizarre and peculiar shapes to resemble bird-like creatures with wings.

These Winged People featured three eyes, snake tails, and dragon heads among their traits, but the locals were not fazed. For a long time, angels were depicted in all sorts of strange ways.
