Yang Ruxin and her party arrived at the foot of Qinglian Mountain without any trouble, where Qinglian Temple was located at the mountain's base.
It was said that a long time ago, so early that it was beyond tracing, a Monk named Qing Lian settled here after his wanderings, and he often treated the illnesses of the local people. After his death, he was buried on the hillside, and his original thatched cottage came to be known as Qinglian House. Over time, it was renovated and eventually became Qinglian Temple, and the mountain itself came to be called Qinglian Mountain as well.
Qinglian Mountain was not very tall, but the scenery was very beautiful, surrounded by several natural villages.
