Capítulo 48: A Useless Emotion

"I do not approve."

Ísar sighed heavily as he let his practice sword fall to the side, dismissing his training partner. He turned around to stare up at the Count and wondered if the older man had a habit of just interrupting his king whenever he pleased.

"What don't you approve of this time, Count Pierre?" Ísar asked as he handed the training sword to one of his attending maids, gratefully taking the glass of water she'd brought for him.

"I had looked past Prince Lin being your partner that one time. Unorthodox behaviors aside, you were bothered at least of similar status. I cannot approve of you taking the Baron's son."

Ísar laughed, a sharp and chilling sound. It put the hairs on everyone present on end and woke up the Southern Prince from the bench.

Osayi was sitting on the bench beside the training ground's entrance, meditating, as Gaston sat beside him. He'd opened one eye at the sound of Ísar's laugh and asked, "What's happening?"
