Sebastian leaped to his feet and focused on the fleeing thief. It was being chased by Liam's helpers. The rune master didn't wait and took off in pursuit.

Liam's helpers fell into the thief's step. It was thanks to them that he didn't lose sight of the guy, a tier-1 thespian. That was also the reason he closed the distance that much. 

He wasn't that faster than him, and escaping through a city like this, with narrow streets often ending in dead ends, and overcrowded by people, wasn't easy.

The thief realized he was being pursued and quickened his pace.

It looked like the man knew the area well, but the number of people and how narrow the alleys were didn't make the ordeal easy for him.
