Capítulo 131: The forest (1)

Sebastian stepped into the forest. To be honest, this wasn't the first time he crossed such a threshold after his regression.

Back when he went into the ruins where the Echo Revenant lived, he did the same, but this time was different.

As he ventured further, there would be no respite from the presence of fangeds. While back then he remained at the forest's edges, now he was going deeper.

He walked with his senses on high alert. Every small sound made him turn, his hand reaching for his spear.

The area was still filled with potential threats, hiding just beyond sight. Every step could reveal horrors or lead him deeper into the trap of some Vexvine.

Though, even in that tense atmosphere, couldn't help but notice how beautiful a forest devoid of human presence was.

Sunlight filtered through thick canopies of leaves, casting dappled patterns of light on the forest floor.
