She kept her head low as she walked past her, trying to appear as invisible as she could because well, she feels really uncomfortable around Wei Xinyi,
"Hi, Delilah," Wei Xinyi greeted, looking up from her phone, smiling. "How's it going?"
Delilah hesitated, unsure of how to respond. She really wasn't expecting Wei Xinyi to actually talk to her, she seems to like Amy a lot so she never thought she would approach her.
Delilah just smiled and said, "I'm doing okay, thanks."
Wei Xinyi nodded sympathetically. "If you ever need anything, Delilah, don't hesitate to reach out. I'm always here to help." She patted her shoulder, a gentle smile that tugged on her lips reminded her so much of Amy.
Delilah felt a surge of panic and a hint of gratitude towards Wei Xinyi. Maybe, just maybe, she was only overthinking.
Wei Xinyi's smile seemed genuine, but Delilah was unaware of the ulterior motives behind it.
Victoria's interest in Delilah was not entirely altruistic, and she had her own reasons for wanting to keep Delilah close and Amy wrapped around her fingers.
As Delilah walked away, she couldn't help feeling that something was off, but she shook it off.
She had always thought that Amy's behavior towards her was just a result of her newfound popularity, but Amy had been her only friend after all.
She can't help the painful throb in her heart as she realized what she'd been through these past weeks.

Her focus was on her studies but now all she does is daydream about Fredrick, how it feels to hug him and to be his girlfriend, she also knows she has become a lost cause.
Meanwhile, Wei Xinyi's focus was on using Amy to leave her mark on the school. She saw Amy's popularity and influence as the perfect tools to shape the school's social hierarchy in her favor.
She began to manipulate Amy, using her charisma and influence to turn Amy into a puppet. Amy, unaware of Victoria's true intentions, thought she was special enough to be able to catch the school council's president's attention, and was happy to oblige to anything she wanted to do.
She was enjoying her newfound status as the school beauty, and she was determined to make the most of it while pursuing Harrison, who was dubbed the school's number one hunk.
With Victoria's guidance, Amy began to consolidate her power, using her influence to crush anyone who dared to oppose her.
Delilah, lost in her own little world, remained blissfully unaware of the danger lurking around her. Her innocence and submissiveness made her an easy target for Amy's manipulation.
Delilah's grades continued to slip, but she didn't care. She was too busy doing Amy's bidding, running errands and completing tasks for her. Despite Amy's cruel treatment, Delilah still trusted her, believing that deep down, Amy was still the same friend she had always known.
Amy, sensing Delilah's devotion, took advantage of it. Delilah, oblivious to Amy's manipulation, did everything without complaint.
Wei Xinyi watched the dynamic relation between Amy and Delilah with great interest. She was pleased to see that her plan was forming as time was no longer on her side as a senior.
Amy was becoming more and more influential. Wei Xinyi's ultimate goal was to use Amy to control the school, and Delilah's devotion was just the icing on the cake.
As the days went by, Delilah became more and more entrenched in Amy's orbit. She was a loyal puppet, doing Amy's bidding without question. And Amy, sensing her power, continued to manipulate Delilah, using her to further her own interests.
