Capítulo 43: Trapped

"They weren't sick or killed, nor did they get into any accidents. They just died. Do you think it was a coincidence? He probably didn't want you with another man until you were ready for him. I don't know. I was an exception, but it seems my time is up too," he didn't have any expressions, and he said those words. It was as if he was talking about someone uninteresting that had nothing to do with him.

'Reaper doesn't want you dead,' she wanted to say these words but clamped her lips shut. It wouldn't make any difference. But she was certain he had no hand in it. He wouldn't tell her to come to him when she was tired of her human if he would just take his life from him.

But it got her thinking. Was it Reaper who killed the other two? The possibility was huge, but she wanted to believe he wasn't so petty, but then again, if he says she belongs to him, he wouldn't want another to touch her. Petty wasn't the right word. It would be jealousy. Reaper was jealous.
