Capítulo 42: Those before me

"Am I going to die soon?" Skye asked. He knew without a doubt that that was the meaning of her words. Danger and a death aura, it wasn't so hard to figure it out.

Nyx bit her bottom lip when she heard his question. She wanted to deny it, but that would be straight-up lying, and she didn't want to pull a veil over his eyes when that was the truth, and she started it by saying what she did before. But she also could not bring herself to say yes either.

"I am dying then," he said, coming to a conclusion.

Silence followed his remark as he thought of everything that had been happening lately. Was there anything he regretted not doing and could still do? Skye couldn't answer that. Was there something that he did that he shouldn't have done? His mind went to his marriage with Nyx. Although he had her in mind, he didn't approach her until Hades came into his life and turned everything upside down. But did he truly regret marrying her? It was hard to say.
