Caishen was not exactly surprised when he found himself on the glaring side of Alix's eye tonight.

When he called her and said that they would be having dinner out in a nice restaurant as a family he neglected to include the part about her ex family as she sometimes called them joining them.

Now, he was giving her apologetic smiles and whispering to her that she should come herself down.

He had plans and if she reacted as hot tempered as she often did, his plans would be ruined.

Around the table, in a private restaurant Alix was reserving her smiles for Xiaobo who she was doting on even more than usual and ignoring others.

Caishen touched her arm and she pulled it away.

He sighed and tried again.

"My dear, your father wanted to speak to us about something very important. It has to do with his company. You are the final decision maker when it comes to his company on my side, remember. " Caishen mentioned.
