Capítulo 88: A Way To Beat The Immortal
Kiyo is the first to react as he jumps high and lunges forward toward Ten. Using the double-handed sword, he's using all of his strength. For him to take Ten out.
Kiyo: "Steel Fanged!"
The sword was covered by an aura of wind. The sword did not hit Ten as he evaded Kiyo's attack, but like Rio, Ten was hit in the vicinity of the AOE as the sword hit the ground. Let the dust fly over covering their sight.
But it comes as a surprise that only his leg was hit as Ten was slightly bleeding mostly from his skin pierced by the piece of small concrete. Mika then followed through as he swung his giant hammer towards Ten. Ten once again block the attack using a transparent barrier.
But the impact causes it to send Ten to the back. Ryuma sends a few Firefly to blow up the wall in Ten's vicinity, causing Ten to be hit by the small rubble itself. Despite that, Ten did not block or evade it, as if he didn't care about it.
Ryuma gets close to Ten again as they both are fighting in close combat. Ten opened his palm, and the dagger materialized on it. Right at that moment, Ryuma's Predict instinct his throat has been cut.
Ryuma: ("Now!") Ryuma dodged the dagger that was on its way to his throat, and decided to use this opportunity to counterattack. Ryuma raises his fist and launches it toward Ten's abdomen. The punch hit, but not on Ten, but on Ryuma himself.
"The space that can manipulate the trajectory itself." That includes his fist. The fist went through the transparent glass shard floating on Ten's abdomen. Right through Ryuma's face, the fist that has an aura of Red Fire causes it to explode right on Ryuma's face.
Rio did not back down as he attacked Ten from behind with the sword imbued with electricity. The shard changed the trajectory of Rio's attack, causing the attack to hit Rio instead of Ten. But it did not end there as Rio just paralyzed Ten's feet with electricity that was coming from Rio's foot.
Mika: "Take this!" Both Mika and Kiyo follow through as the chain surrounds Ten while Mika with his giant hammer again, swings it towards Ten. The massive impact from Mika's hammer causes the alley to crack.
But they couldn't believe it because Ten was nowhere to be seen after that. That's until they just realized Ten was somehow escaped from their futiled attack.
"That was close, you all certainly got a bit stronger, slightly..." Looking at Ten's movement he's about to leave the alley, and so Rio started questioning Ten while pointing his sword at him.
Rio: "Wait, where are you going?! Why didn't you finish us off?!" Ten turned around as he heard Rio. Ten then answered...
Ten: "I'm merely only testing you. I'll say as far as you all have done... 35 points for your effort to get me."
Hearing Ten's answer, Rio was snapped as the veins popped from his head. Ten turned around and ran from the alley. Rio on the other hand, is blinded by wrath as he uses Pride Of Lighting And Thunder. The electricity flows from inside Rio's body, As Rio is only standing at one stop, as if he's teleporting he reaches Ten in an instant.
Rio attempted to slash Ten with the sword. But the sword did not reach him as Ten disappeared into the space. Rio caught a glimpse of Ten's shadow in the corner of the alley. Rio turned to the corner pretty quickly and saw Ten who was running inside the building in front of the alley.
In an instant, Rio caught up to Ten. Ten has passed the front entrance's frame, meanwhile, Rio did not slow down as he attempted to bash through the glass door. But as soon Rio reaches the door...
Meryna: "Boo!" Meryna comes from the other side, smacking Rio's face through the glass barrier between them. Meryna's physical power was immense enough to send Rio who's using Pride Of Thunder And Lightning to the back.
As Rio gets up, all he sees is Meryna who's slowly walking towards him with the dual dagger. Rio's face was bleeding cause of Meryna's punch along with some shattered door glass on his face. The two stand in front of the tallest building in the city.
Meryna: "Nice sword you've got there, how about you trade it with mine?"
Rio didn't answer and proceeded to give Meryna the silent treatment.
Meryna: Ehh~? So not gonna answer then?"
As Meryna says that, she proceeds to charge towards Rio.
...
Rudy: "So this bitch is basically immortal. So you don't have any chance of beating her in fights."
Kiyo: "If that's the case then she must have something like core right? Like the King of Vampires, I believe there's no living immortal being that has no weakness."
Kiyo's idea only gave Rudy a disappointment as he sighed.
Rudy: If I had found it, I would've already told you. But no, I can't find her weakness at the moment, if you look at the recording, her attributes come in a pink color. I don't know what attribute she was holding. Using the attribute's color, she concealed her inner part which I can't use my X-Ray Visionaire at all.
Mika: "Then, how did we-"
Rudy: "But I have prepared the countermeasure for that..."
...
Rio: "Thunder Strike!" Both Rio and Meryna exchange their steel weapon, but Meryna realizes that her hands become numb from every clash. Her hand was caught up in the electricity causing her hand to tremble and dropped the dagger.
Rio sees an opportunity by kicking Meryna in the stomach before pinning her with the sword that's piercing Meryna's heart.
Rio: "If you can't kill it, the best answer is to seal it."
Despite that, Meryna's face hasn't shown any sign of struggle and despair at all. Before Rio knew it, as he looked to his right, there was the printer flying in his direction.
