On the other side of town, inside the Jewelry Building, Cherry stood by the window, deep in thought. With her left hand on her chest and her right hand holding her chin, she stared at the bustling traffic below. She seemed calm, but her mind was busy.

Her secretary knocked on the door and entered. "Boss, we've investigated everything," she reported.

"What's going on?" Cherry asked.

The secretary replied, "Mr. Jack did have some trouble with Patrick from the Bean family. It ended when Deputy Director Dos from the Municipal Bureau arrived. Since then, Patrick has been planning revenge."

"So, Jack was telling the truth earlier on the phone?" Cherry's eyes lit up as she asked, her voice slow but deliberate.
