Capítulo 237: Not the only one who's full of nonsense

The beginning of the week felt slower with many ups and downs, but halfway through it, Fil almost wanted it to slow down. Once she dealt with those toxic scums and found out about Michael's plans, everything else went smoothly. Before she knew it, it was her last day in the office. Hence, her friends in the office threw a dinner party.

"Fil, I'll miss you again!" Elise whimpered, hugging Fil's arm. "When are you coming back?"

"In three months, I think?" Fil smiled. "Or maybe, after a year."

"A year?!" Elise frowned, casting Olivia who sat across from them a look. "Liv! Why are you giving her a year of leave?!"

"It's not a leave, Elise," Liv returned nonchalantly. "She's not going on a vacation, but work."

Elise's frown deepened while Kenzo shook his head. A warm smile turned on Fil's face as she studied everyone at the table. All of them were good colleagues who had been a great support.
