"Before you go and get cozy with sistet-in-law, why don't you tell us why you have gathered us all here, buddy? Surely it's not your birthday. I couldn't have forgotten," Bruce said with a little frown.

"Fortunately for you, it's not his birthday today. The day you forget his birthday, be ready to forfeit all your rights and privileges of being his friend," Belannie threatened.

"Here's a little secret, Grace," she moved closer to Grace so that her mouth was almost on Grace's ear. 

"Jace values his birthday more than anything in the world. He'll even keep malice with anyone who forgets to wish him," she whispered but at the end of the day, the four men heard every word she said distinctly.

How is this a secret? Grace wondered as she joined the men in a chuckle.

"Alright. Can I have my girl to myself now?" Jace demanded as he drew closer to Grace and the rest took the cue to reluctantly excuse themselves.
