Capítulo 155: He Sure Did Screw Up

If he had just rejected Adeline like everyone wanted, if he had chosen an omega over the human and spared himself the trouble, would things have been any different? If he hadn't allowed himself to fall in love with her, he wouldn't be in so much pain, right? It wasn't just him, even his wolf had been silent ever since. 

Normally, he could sense his wolf and even communicate with it, but now, he felt absolutely alone. The one thing that lived within him had deadly gone silent as if it were more broken than he was. 

It had been two months plus without their mate, who ran from them, so he honestly wouldn't blame the poor thing for going silent. The most painful part of it all was that Adeline left without ever rejecting them and carrying the mark he'd left on her. 

If only she had rejected him before doing so, they wouldn't be in pain even now. Sure, it would have hurt, but only a little, and he would have gotten over it in less than a week.
