"Yes, the one you truly belong to." Caesar held a sure smile, his fingers running up and down the line of her back. 

"You'll have to choose me. There is no other choice, doll. You and I..." His eyes rose to meet hers and he brought the back of her hand to his lips, delivering a soft lasting kiss. 

"Dimitri, or I, whose better?" Yet again, he repeated his question. 

There was a moment of silence, before Adeline smiled. 

"He's hot, but you're hotter. You're...better." She dropped her head against his shoulder, groaning under her breath. "You must have lots of women throwing themselves at you, don't you?" It was obvious.

"Indeed, I do," Caesar nodded, admitting truthfully. "But it's unfortunate sometimes. I've had to go to extreme measures to have some of them leave me alone. They never want to leave after-"

He stopped recounting the second he felt the sudden change in the atmosphere. Adeline was glaring daggers at him with a fake, dry smile.
