"I'll see you later," Kai said, waving at Lina as she went to the entrance of the hotel.
However, she stopped just as she was about to reach the door, turning to Kai with bright eyes.
The two of them decided to have dinner since Suzy interrupted their time together during the early afternoon. Lina had also acted strange at the beginning of their 'friendly date,' but she became more comfortable afterward when it seemed like Kai didn't have any interest in Kimmy Wang.
"Are you sure you're not going to head up yet?" she asked.
Kai shook his head and pointed to the ball in between his arm and lateral torso. "I won't be able to sleep without practicing."
"We have a game in the morning tomorrow," she said, tilting her head to the side.
"I know," Kai smiled. "I won't take long. I just need to do this."
Lina pursed her lips. "You know that you're good enough, right?"
