Capítulo 339: Failed Recruitment

"That was great, grandma," Kai smiled as he stood from the chair, some jam still left on his lips. 

Grandma Bingbing clicked her tongue and used her apron to wipe away the red syrup. "You still eat like a child." 

Kai sheepishly scratched the back of his neck. "Technically, I still am a child." 

Grandma Bingbing shook her head in amusement. 

"Now, where are those onions you're talking about?" he asked. 

"By the sink," Grandma said. "I missed Richgate this morning. I just need you to deliver this to the Chen household." 

Kai pursed his lips since he was going to see Coach Guanyu out of the court. 

"Alright," he said, washing his hands and taking the sack of onions. "I'll be back." 

"Hmm," she hummed. "Be back soon." 

Kai nodded, and with that, he started walking to Richgate. 

He arrived in front of the village, and there he saw one of his greatest enemies—the guard.
