Capítulo 12: CHAPTER 12
Rosaline was sitting happily in the drawing room on the ground while her mother kept combing her hair. Her mother hummed a tune while her brother kept walking due to the unclear heart. He approached his sister to ask while both of them looked at him in anger and he was scared away. Women, especially noble women had to keep themselves clean for their husbands and they had to even stay away from their brothers, fathers and sons. They were not ready to take the risk as many nobles were nuts and had committed incest and no noble could believe their wives with other men.
He could only stay away and ask, "Did he promise to support me? Have you got him under control? Why am I hearing that he rejected you?"
Rosaline sighed and said, "Get lost."
He got angry and looked at his mother. She sighed and asked her daughter, "Speak about him. Did you like him. If not, I can arrange for another man from the side of my family. We are rich enough to get the position of baron for your husband."
Rosaline said with a touch of love for her mother, "I have no interest in men who are weaker in status than me."
Her mother asked, "What do you think about him?"
Rosaline said, "He is still a child who has just grown up. He understands the world and knows about it but cannot accept it. He just wants to live in his own cocoon."
Her mother chuckled and said, "All men are children. They know that all are impermanent but will still fight for it. They will fight wars over useless things when they just could live happily with their own lives. They just see the outer beauty of women when most women are the same in the body and is different in heart. They never understand the world. At least we women just lives in our own borders called home and live alone. We are the truly happy ones but you are not."
Rosaline smiled but did not say anything. She was not a fool to believe in such nonsense as she knew that she will be sold the next day to an old man if she does so. She said, "I just want to protect him. he is just like a scholar that has not seen the world. He has lived away from the luxury due to training. He needs to understand happiness and every happiness in the future will be acquitted to me. His love for me will be much purer."
Her mother giggled and said, "You are indeed my daughter."
Her brother could not help but interject, "The best way to get him with us is if you go and sleep with him. You can also take some maids. He will not want you to be with other men and so he will make you, his concubine."
Rosaline pursed her lips in anger and she said, "I want a stable life in his harem, not a hard life. You know nothing about men as I do."
Her brother scoffed and said, "I am a man and understand men more than anything. A noble man wants to conquer the world and he will conquer it one day. He will either get married to a princess and take over a dutchy or he will establish his own kingdom. You are not worthy to become a main wife in both talent and status. You are not a scholar and neither a musician. You are not too noble and you are not too innocent. What make you so confident? Men will want more gold and power and he will have it easily. Men who stand at top will want to see other strong bow down to him and I will do a good act for that and he will support me. Most men just want more women. They will want all women they can get. No matter how much innocent he is, he will fall in love with an innocent woman, then he will just sleep with his concubines alone, later he will get bored and sleep with other people's wives and the maids and he may even have some weird fetishes. So, your idea of innocent love if foolish"
Rosaline asked with a smile, "Have you forgotten that he is an ancient knight! He is disciplined enough unlike you and he will not stoop low enough to have some weird fetishes as he is trained strong and he is strong without any subordination to other persons and no superiority complex due to no servants serving him. He may like some married women but by that time our children would have taken grown big. She can at most be a part time lover. Nothing more and nothing less. As for men knowing men and just interested in these things there is a thing known as post-nut clarity. The reason I am taking this term is because power-lust and lust for money rarely comes to an end unless you experience too much but you can experience clarity just after a proper sex. So that is the truth. You will still need love and you will still need feelings. Men are still human brother although I seriously doubt whether you are a human. You are as pitiful as him as I and mother look down on you and so does our father. Poor you."
Her brother was really angry. He sat down with gritted teeth. They just kept on using him. He knew that even if he climbed high enough and became a Count, he will not be able to take revenge on his sister. But he will destroy his father at his death bed and his mother and his siblings and step mothers. He will let them suffer.
Rosaline laughed and said, "That boy lacks security and a mother. I will be the sweet elder sister guiding in this new world that he has not seen. He will see my maturity and he will like the serious me. I may not be strong in other matters but I will help him in taking care of his property. I will also act as an innocent woman in love fulfilling his fantasies about love. I will also be a mature woman after giving birth to a child and a good mother. He will love me as no weak lady will be able to do so much and not lady with strong background like the princess can do so. He will only get the pleasure of marrying the princess when he marries the princess while I am a complete life package and he will take care of me and have pure love for me."
Her mother said, "Get married soon otherwise I will bind you and sell you to him. He may not like you but he will like your body. Having the daughter of his superior as a slave is something that any many will like."
Her brother laughed in anger and happiness. He hated this world and this family. He wished for her to fail to see that scene but he was the one who had to get the support and he could only bow down to her. He just laughed. She too was bound to the sad world. Hiis mother too had to fight against the family. He hated this life.
