( Zero Pov )
Bam has been in unconscious for two days now, and he has yet to awaken.
' If he doesn't wake up now. He won't be able to join the test tomorrow.' I thought as I sat on a bench outside of Bams' room.
Khun was inside checking on him.
" Hm?" I turned to see Rachel walking down the hallway to Bam's room.
She glanced at me as I observed her.
A gut feeling told me not to trust her. As if a snake is trying to slither its way into the room.
" Is Bam inside?" She smiled.
" Yes. And he's still unconscious." I replied before ignoring her.
She knocked on the door.
" May I come in?"
" Yes, come in." Khun replied
Rachel opened the door and entered.
I sighed and stood up to leave.
As I walked through the hallway, I heard screaming.
I peeked inside to see the tracksuit being electrocuted by Bam's sword.
I frowned as I entered.
" Didn't my victory nullify your deal?" I asked, catching the green girls attention.
We both locked eyes before she spoke.
" Try it." She spoke. .
The tracksuit gave me the sword.
" Oh, my! Another cutie!" I heard a voice as I felt a woman's hands touching me.
" Perv." I dropped the sword.
" It...it worked??" Tracksuit exclaimed.
" I see. It's a pervert for cute boys..." The green girl muttered.
She picked up the sword again.
" Sigh, as much as I don't want to touch it. It's best you give it..."
" Hey! Sweatshirt! Let's drink!!" A woman buried through the door as we all froze.
" Not bad, having a girl visit you at night." The green girl turned towards sweatsuit.
" No, that's not a girl. She's an old lady. Doesn't count, Annak."
" What?"
' Hmm, so her name is Anaak. And it seems the woman is interested in sweatsuit.'
I sighed and left the room to chase after Anaak, who still held the sword, leaving the arguing couple.
I was about to call her out when another woman appeared down the hall.
" Hi!" She spoke, but Anaak ignored her.
" ignored me?!" She exclaimed as I ignored her too.
" You too?!"
After a few seconds, she started explaining the owner of the black march.
' Fake?' I managed to decipher that word as Anaak attacked the other girl.
I stepped to the side to dodge as her attack reached the woman, which was blocked by her single things.
After that, she walked away but stopped as she turned around.
" Hey, spooky eyes."
" Who..who's spooky eyes?!!" The woman shouted.
Anaak asked about Rachel.
' Another world?...' I thought as I decided to speak up.
" By " Another world" do you mean by someone who thinks differently or just entirely different." I spoke, catching the two girls' attention.
" Hmm, I say It's close to you, Mr. Mysterious." The woman smiled.
I crossed my arms.
' That... doesn't really answer the question. But it's a start, at least.'
' Bam said he was looking for her on the first floor, which means they knew each other before that time. But what caused their separation?'
" Hey, are you listening?" The woman asked.
" Yes." I replied.
" And the big guy, what's up with him?" I asked.
" Hm? Aren't you asking the wrong question? If you're interested in my team so much, why don't you start with me?" She smirked.
" Uhm...what?" I blinked my eyes.
' Is she... flirting?'
' Maybe... maybe I could use this to my advantage to gain more intelligence.'
" Really? Then what's the relationship between you and the bug guy?"
" Hmm, are you jealous?"
" You could say that." I replied.
This woman had also prived to be useful.
' Maybe I could make an alliance with her as well... if she proves to be trustful.'
( Khun Pov )
" Bam... was a lonely boy. He was always...alone...and lonely. "
" Before he came up the tower, the only friend Bam had was me. When he heard that i was going up the tower... Bam cried and told me not to go..."
" But I left him... and entered the tower...I... thought I would never meet him again."
" But he appeared in front of me. I couldn't fight him nor his friend, so I decided to help. Even though I wasn't as much help as my teammates who helped."
" Do you know Zero?" I asked.
" Zero? No... I don't." Rachel replied.
' So no one knows Zero before entering the tower...'
I finally heard Bam's but never Zero's.
' He's still a mystery.' I thought as j continued to listen to Rachel.
After the talk, I stood outside of Bams toom as the crocodile stood by the corner, acting like a boy with a crush.
" What are you doing, Crocodile?"
" No... I just... it's not like.... I'm not worried about that turtle! I just wanted to check... if my prey is okay... just a food... check!"
" Come in if you're worried. Don't stand there like a guy with a crush." I opened the door.
" You got it wrong! I'm cold-hearted!!" He shouted.
" Hey! Is he dead? Say no!!" Crocodile shouted.
" Open your eyes, turtle!! If not, I'll eat you!! Turtle!!"
" What's with shouting?"
" Hm?" I turned to see Zero entering with a smile.
' He's... smiling?'
" What's with the smile? Did you meet your crush?" I asked.
" Huh? Smile?" He put his hand on his mouth.
' It seems he's not a complete monster.' I thought as I saw Rak pointing at the bananas.
" You ate all the yellow things!? I'll kill you!" He shouted.
( Zero Pov )
It seemed I was smiling while converting with that woman. But the green girl escaped.
I didn't notice until I was in Bam's room.
I touched my chest as I sat down on the floor.
It was beginning to calm down.
' That's odd... I didn't have a fight... yet it's still beating rapidly...' I frowned, not liking this new feeling.
