CHAPTER TWENTY-NINE - THE END
We were lost. "Uhm, Shadow, where are we going..?" I asked, and Shadow didn't say anything. "Come on! tell me!" I said, eagerly following. "Wait till we get there." Was the reply. "When are we going to get there, then?!" I protested, and Shadow sighed.
Then, he suddenly stopped walking, and grabbed me back before I could fall.
By fall, I mean we were now standing at the edge of a cliff. The fall was steep - sheer cliffs, and the sea below me. The sun was almost setting, and the sky was glowing pink, red, and purple. The most beautiful thing I had seen so far. "Hey, shadow, do you believe in happy endings?" I asked, looking at the sea. So peaceful! I need to snag a camera from the two-legs one day! "I do. But I want mine to have you in it." Shadow said.
"Me too."
