Boom!

"Argh!" My legs gave out, and I collapsed against the jagged, cold surface of the tunnel wall, every muscle in my body trembling from sheer exhaustion. Each breath came in ragged, shallow gasps, burning my throat. My body screamed at me to stop, but I couldn't. I forced myself to keep moving, dragging my feet across the uneven floor of the cave. Every step felt heavier than the last, like the weight of my impending doom was crushing me.

Survival? It was nothing more than a fleeting dream now—one that slipped further out of reach with every staggering footfall.

I shouldn't have let it come to this.

If only I'd spent that hour trying to find a way out of the cursed forest. If I hadn't been so fixated on creating that stupid array, I wouldn't be running for my life through this hellish cave. If I had been smarter, if I had planned better... 

But I didn't. I had made every wrong choice I possibly could, and now? 

Now, I was done for.
