Three more days passed...

I let out small breaths as I stopped using mana breathing and opened my eyes.

A satisfied smile came to my face as I saw the amount of the mana.
My growth is fast, if I have to say it might surpass most of the main characters.
'This should be enough for now.'
It was time to work on the plan that I had been thinking of.
Not far from Boros family land, There is an unexplored area that most of the demons avoid.
'I'm going there.'
Inside that unexplored region, there is a secret area and I have to go there to obtain an item.
I can't waste this opportunity because if I did the protagonist and other main characters would obtain that item when they come to to demon world in few years later.
To guarantee my safety in Satan Demon Academy, I must have that item.
And right about now, I'm strong enough to attack that unexplored region.
But there is one problem that stood in my way...
I turned my head back and
"What are you looking at?"
"It's nothing, My lady."
I look ahead again and sigh.
The problem was Rene, who was practising her swordsmanship behind me.
Renee had this attitude ever since she became completely convinced that I was a priest.
'Does she think I am a member of the Boros family?'
My status rose from simply a suspicious escort to a priest of the Boros family.
Contrary to this, it seems that the treatment has become worse, which is a strange feeling...
I ruffled my red hair roughly with an annoyed expression.
'I have to somehow get Rene away from me.'
If Rene follows me out of Boros' territory, surveillance will be placed.
Then, I couldn't attack the unexplored region.
Is there a way to avoid suspicion and drop Renee?
As I pondered my dilemma, an idea began to form in my mind. I needed a plausible reason to separate from Rene without raising suspicion or causing her to become more curious about my actions.
"Rene, my lady," I called out, turning to face her with a thoughtful expression. "I have a task to attend to outside of Boros territory. It's a matter that requires discretion and swift action."
Rene paused in her swordsmanship practice, looking at me with a mixture of surprise and curiosity. "What kind of task?" she asked, her tone guarded but intrigued.
"It's a family matter," I replied smoothly, choosing my words carefully. "Something that I must handle alone to ensure the safety and reputation of the Boros family. You understand, don't you?"
There was a moment of hesitation in Rene's expression before she nodded slowly. "Of course," she said, though her tone still held a hint of scepticism.
I pressed on, hoping to alleviate any lingering doubts. "I will return as soon as the task is completed," I assured her and turned my back against her.
There was a small smile on my face as I managed to fool Rene.
"Wait a minute!"
However, that smile was gone as Rene uttered those words.
Turning around I met Rene's gaze
"What happened my lady?"
"Tell me the task."
Her words were sharps as a blade.
"As I said it's a family matter-"
"I'm sure father won't mind if you tell me."
For a moment I lost the composer, A troubled expression comes to my face.
"T-That... my lady, I can't tell you." I slightly fumble on my words as I say those words.
The situation was quite unexpected, I didn't think that Rene would ask unnecessary questions.
But I think I was wrong.
"It's a lie, Right? The task was an excuse."
My confidence died when I saw Rene with a shocked expression.
When I think about whether I tend to act poorly, it seems likely that it's because of my face.
Adele's face looked sinister even at first glance, and it had a lighter feel rather than a serious feel.
This is natural because the character was created from the beginning with the intention of being sinister.
The bottom line is, it's my fault...
"Get to the point."
"Getting to the point, I just…"
"Where are you going after you get away from me? The intention is visible."

It seemed like I had been caught.

Renee's face looked somewhat sad when she asked that.

Renee wasn't convinced by that alone, so I added.

Renee seemed deep in thought after listening to me.
And soon after, Rene opened his mouth.
"I remembered that I wanted to go outside too, it's been a while since I went outside of the household."

I got angry inside as she continued to speak.
"Then you should go outside and enjoy-."
"I will go."
"?"
spurt.
My face froze with a bright smile on my face.
I looked at Rene with trembling eyes.
"Yup, that's right."
"…That means."
"I will go with you and that's final."
I closed my eyes and sighed.
Turning around to face Rene, I knew there was no use arguing further. It seemed she was adamant about joining me on my journey outside Boros territory, and any attempt to dissuade her would likely only arouse more suspicion.
"Very well, my lady," I said with a resigned tone, masking my frustration. "If that is your decision, then I will not object. However, I must warn you that the journey may be perilous, and I cannot guarantee your safety."
Rene nodded, her expression determined. "I understand," she said firmly.
