As Mrs. Rita walked away, David and Carissa couldn't help but laugh quietly, the tension easing as they shared a moment of understanding. Carissa turned to David, her voice soft. "I should get going soon," she said, beginning to crawl off the bed.

But before she could get far, David stretched out and pulled her back, causing her to land face-first on his chest. She mewed in surprise. "David, let go! I need to help Mrs. Rita with breakfast."

He grinned mischievously. "A quickie wouldn't hurt," he whispered, winking at her.

Carissa blushed, her protests faltering as she met his gaze. "David... we can't..."

He hushed her with a kiss, his hands already exploring her body with a familiar urgency. "Just a quick one," he murmured against her lips.
