Capítulo 80: Hilton's End II

Seeing the blazing anger on Amelia's face, the Hilton patriarch finally understood that he was out of options to save himself.

"Do you think we're defenseless?" Hilton sneered as he calmly sat down, his arrogance palpable.

"We've made contact with people from outside this planet," he continued, his sly grin deepening. "They've provided us with significant benefits in exchange for some of our 'valuable' resources. And guess what? They're here now."

His eyes gleamed as he looked at Amelia and her team, the confidence of a man who believed he had an ace up his sleeve.

"Your people may be strong—second or even third replacement realm—but what does that matter? They have an Origin Realm leader among them, one who's raised on a different level. He's capable of wiping all of you out, like an ant, and none of you will stand a chance."

Hilton leaned back, crossing his arms as if everything was under his control. "Now you have two choices: either die here, or surrender that legendary bloodline and work for me. Do that, and maybe I'll let you live."

His voice dripped with smug satisfaction, confident that he had the upper hand.

"Find out about his backer," Leon said calmly before Amelia could respond.

Amelia shot a glance at Leon, her eyes glinting with cold fury. "Really? Let's see if he can come to save you," she sneered, raising her hand. In an instant, a weapon began to materialize, a chilling aura emanating from it.

A white spear with a black spear tip and intricate, snake-like patterns spiraling around its shaft appeared in her hand.

"Genesis Breaking Spear," she murmured, her voice barely above a whisper, but the power radiating from the spear was unmistakable.

Hilton's smirk faltered for the first time as the energy from the spear filled the room, its dark and ominous presence a clear indication of its deadly potential.

"Didn't you hear me? There's an Origin Realm backer behind me!" Hilton shouted in desperation, his voice trembling as he saw Amelia readying her spear to strike.

"I don't care. Killing you is my goal, and it doesn't matter if your backer is strong or not," Amelia said coldly, launching the spear with deadly precision.

"Arghhh…?" Hilton gasped as the black-tipped spear stopped inches from his face, paralyzing him in fear. He felt the wetness in his pants as he realized he had lost control of himself.

"How far you've fallen," Amelia said, snapping her fingers. The spear transformed into black ropes that snaked around him, binding him tightly.

"Tell me the name of your backer," she demanded, her voice sharp as a blade.

Faced with death once more, Hilton broke down, his fear overwhelming him. He began spilling all the secrets he had desperately tried to protect.

"They call themselves the Gamma Organization," Hilton confessed, glancing nervously at Amelia. The rest of the Hiltons lay unconscious around them, leaving him with no allies.

"Gamma Organization?" Leon mused, contemplating the name.

"Do you know anything about them?" Amelia asked, her gaze shifting to Leon.

"Maybe. Ask him what resources they provide in exchange for an Epic Bloodline," Leon suggested.

"We have to give them one of our awakened," Hilton admitted, his voice trembling.

"You sell your new awakened just to get a Epic Bloodline?" Amelia's eyes narrowed at him, filled with disdain.

"Now I understand. The Gamma Organization is an illegal syndicate. They kidnap awakened individuals and use genetic identifiers to extract their abilities, then sell them," Leon explained, a serious look crossing his face.

"These bastards!" Amelia clenched her fists in rage, realizing the depths of their cruelty. "How dare they treat people as commodities?"

"Don't worry. We can send a team to dismantle them easily, and this actually gives us an opportunity," Leon said with a confident smile.

"What opportunity?" Amelia asked, her curiosity piqued.

"We can kill them without fear of legal repercussions. They tried to kidnap you, and my master sent bodyguards to rescue you. We can make it look like self-defense. Then we expose the presence of the Gamma Organization and claim that they attacked us first," Leon explained confidently.

"Exactly! This way, we can also seize their resources since they harmed us," Amelia added, recalling how the laws could be twisted in their favor.

"Naah, it's simpler just to have them sign over their properties to us. I don't want to deal with all that hassle," Leon replied, shaking his head. "Get the coordinates of the Gamma Organization, and let's take them out," he instructed, looking at Hilton expectantly.

Amelia nodded and swiftly exited the room after ensuring the Hilton patriarch signed over all their businesses and properties to them, as well as obtaining the coordinates of the Gamma Organization.

As she walked out, she glanced back at the men who accompanied her and casually said, "Kill them all."

With the doors closing behind her, screams erupted from within the hall as the five mercilessly slaughtered the Hilton higher-ups. The younger members, however, were forced into loyalty contracts, ensuring their allegiance to Amelia and Leon.

The sound of chaos faded as Amelia stepped into the quiet corridor, a bittersweet smile on her face.

"I have avenged you, Mom! Dad! But why… why do I still feel this way?" She sobbed, curling up on the floor and covering her face with her knees.

"Killing them was never the answer to your sadness, idiotic sis," Leon said, shaking his head as he watched her through ghost mode.

"it was just to do justice to them, now you have to leave the past to past and focus on present " Leon said as he sat with her.

Amelia lifted her face as she looked at him " What about you?"

"I have already move on" Leon said as he looked at her " the more you cling to it the higher it will get" He said as he stood up, " now get up, there is still things to do"
