Capítulo 3: Hacia Casa

Hello, everyone! Here I bring you a short chapter of 1400 words to pass the time. I did it in my free time, and although I can continue, I want to enjoy a bit of webnovel at this hour and some YouTube.

[17:10, until 17:50. I started after writing 1000 words of my Naruto fanfic.]

[23:50 started again and finished everything at 00:32.]

[01:14, I finished after adding more details and translating it into English.]

POV Mc

Upon waking up, I found myself in some kind of capsule. It seems they were conducting tests to confirm that everything was going well. Apparently, I'll be here for a good amount of time, time that I must take advantage of to think.

My theory seems to be correct; I was reborn with a better brain, or at least better vision. Just minutes after being born, I could distinguish my mother's face, while a regular baby takes at least a month to achieve this.

Shortly after, I could identify my entire family, along with their colors, without any problem, something that would take a regular baby at least three months to accomplish.

It's also notable that I can think for a longer time than before, and I don't feel any discomfort. At the same time, I feel very calm for a situation where I have a new life, although this can be attributed to being in the womb for months without external contact, causing a certain level of madness. Still, as I remain calm, it's not a big deal.

Hmm... it seems I immersed myself too much in my thoughts, and it ends up messing me up... how embarrassing! My profound thoughts have taken a backseat to this awkward situation.

Well, at least it pulls me out of my thoughts. Only crying remains to attract attention and act like a normal baby so that no one kidnaps me and experiments on me. I may be paranoid, but well, better safe than sorry.

Determined to cry, I let out a sharp and pitiful cry, as I learned from those neighbor babies who wouldn't let me sleep. My lungs seem to have acquired an outstanding ability in the art of infant crying.

"Waa, waa, waa!" - I try to modulate my tone to sound as authentic as possible; I need the doctors and nurses to come to my aid.

I cry in the hope that my performance is convincing, although my crying is not entirely an act. The shame persists, but at least, at this moment, my only concern is to get someone to approach and attend to my situation.

Soon after, a nurse approaches. Seeing me, her eyes widen in surprise, and she says:

"Oh, my baby! What happened, sweetie? Did you make a poopy? Don't worry, the super-duper-hyper-amazing Dr. Polo is here to take care of you." The nurse adopts a sweet tone and then transitions to an exaggerated one as she examines me.

We're going to clean you up and put on a fresh little diaper, okay? There's no reason to be sad; these little things happen. Do you want me to sing a song to cheer you up while I fix everything?" - the nurse continues with a loving smile, trying to make the situation as comforting as possible, speaking to me as if I understand her.

I feel a bit of relief hearing her comforting words and let myself be carried away by the calmness of her maternal tone.

The nurse takes care of my needs while responding with little babblings, letting my crying turn into quiet whispers.

She continues her care with patience and tenderness, murmuring gentle words while carrying out the necessary tasks. Her melodic voice comforts me, and soon I realize that, despite the initial embarrassment, I am in good hands.

After changing me and ensuring I'm comfortable, the nurse gently wraps me in a soft blanket. She whispers lullabies and rocks me gently, creating a calm and secure environment. My eyes, still moist from tears, begin to close slowly.

The nurse speaks to me in a playful tone: "How about we try to get some sleep, little one? The big me will be here to take care of you, okay?" Following her lead, I allow sleep to envelop me.

[time skip]

After several days of observation in the clinic, the nurse and doctors confirm that my development continues to be extraordinary. Although the initial experience was unique and somewhat embarrassing, I realize that my mother has been by my side all this time, even though she also had to take care of herself as she had just given birth. Still, she stayed as close to me as possible every day; she is very affectionate.

There were also visiting days where my family took turns coming to see us and bringing things like diapers or items for my care. On these days, I also learned the names of all my family members.

Whether it's the affectionate grandmother Zoe, the seemingly stern but bright-faced grandfather Seigen, my aunts S

Her name is Mary Aki, Japanese by origin, and she is also a doctor. She became friends with my mom when our family traveled to Japan. She came all the way from Japan to Argentina to take care of us and examine both me and my mom. She didn't trust the medical service in Argentina, and although the doctors were good, it's better to be safe than sorry.

Mary is an attractive woman with fair skin, above-average height, a curvaceous figure, and a prominent bust. She has disheveled black hair of medium length, thick eyebrows, and light-colored eyes, over which she wears a pair of square-shaped glasses. Mary also has rounded lips and visible freckles, appearing on both her face and chest.

Finally, the day comes when the nurse hands me over to my mother definitively to say goodbye to the entire hospital. Upon seeing me, a smile lights up on her face, and I notice the gleam of excitement in her eyes as she embraces me tenderly.

The nurse provides her with some instructions for my care, and, like a mother for the first time, my mom, although feeling uncomfortable from the pressure, still had a sparkle in her eyes while paying attention to everything the doctor said.

With determination and affection, my mother nods at the nurse's instructions, thanking her for all her care. We get ready to leave the hospital and travel home, where the Andes family awaits us outside.

So there I am in my mother's arms, with a Tasmanian Devil (Taz) doll close to me, and with the family waiting for us outside, we set off towards my new home, where I would grow to become a better version of myself.

-----[1]

After bidding farewell to the hospital, my mother cradles me in her arms, and we embark on the journey toward our new home. The crisp evening air surrounds us as we step out, greeted by the Andes family eagerly awaiting our arrival.

Their faces light up with joy as they welcome us, and jokes of all kinds fill the air. My aunts playfully argue about who gets to carry me, but in the midst of their distraction, Grandma Zoe takes advantage and settles me on her lap, with the Tasmanian Devil doll by my side.

As we approach our destination, Grandma points out the street, sharing stories of how her family was among the first to settle in this city when it was just a small town. Suddenly, the car comes to a stop in front of our new home, a cozy middle-class dwelling.

The family pitches in to unload our belongings, discussing the logistics while my grandmother seizes the opportunity to pick me up and give me a tour of our new house.

She shows me every nook with enthusiasm and nostalgia, her eyes shining as she recounts the childhoods of my aunts and my mother. She lovingly points out special places where she, my mother, and the rest of the family shared unforgettable moments.

After a day full of emotions and a bit chaotic for a baby, my mom picks me up, and after breastfeeding me with her two ample bottles of milk, she gently lays me in my crib.

Whispering lullabies while caressing my small head, I soon drift into a peaceful sleep as my mom's murmurs fade into the background.

.....

[1]- I added everything from there downwards when I finished translating everything. I thought it was better to conclude the chapter at home, and that's how it stayed.
