"If you can heal them easily, healing me would not be a problem, right?" Kaan asked.
Aru had said that he was willing to heal everyone except him. So, he wanted to know the reason.
"Yes, healing you is not difficult," Aru admitted.
"So, why?"
"You already know the answer."
"You don't trust me."
"Yes. How can I immediately trust a person who tried to kill me? What if you revolted after I healed you?"
"Hmm." Kaan modded.
Aru had all the right reasons to doubt him. Just like him, who prioritised his people's interests, Aru was prioritising the interests of the tribe.
The Boulder tribe was in no position to deal with a revolt. It was a fact that Kaan knew. So, he accepted Aru's answer.
Staying wounded and unable to fight is for the better. Now, the rest of the tribe wouldn't have to fear him.
