When all was said and done, Kruxe was no cold-blooded murderer, and so despite how convenient straight-up killing the girl would have been, in the end, Kruxe had to go for the second option, though he did modify it a bit.

Rather than just knock out the girl in the alley and leave her vulnerable to whichever delinquent passed through it, Kruxe had decided to instead bring along the girl to the docking area, and then keeping the distance between her and his target quite moderate, he knocked out the girl, bound her and then stuffed her between a stack of crates in a storage house close by.

The woman had begged and cried for Kruxe to release her, that she wouldn't say a word, but unfortunately for her, no matter how much Kruxe sympathized with her, he acknowledged that he was looking to hunt and capture a likely seeker, there was no room for mistakes, just because he had been quick to lose two of his extra lives didn't mean that he didn't know the value of it.
