"ROOOMM!"
The noise produced by the horn blown by Pol Qo was so loud that all the surrounding warriors went flying everywhere, with a strong wind originating around him, while the stone slab floor was broken.
Azrael could evade the horn's repercussions thanks to Endoxes, who covered him with their wings and protected them.
"That horn is magic; whatever it is tried to enter my mind!" Endoxes spoke to Azrael through his mental communication, causing Azrael to grit his teeth and a severe countenance to cover his entire face.
He knew the incredible power Endoxes had, one that made him extremely dangerous, something that was seen when Endoxes nearly destroyed Bazar in its entirety, all with a single attack of his breath.
In the hypothetical case where Endoxes turned against Azrael, stopping him after that would be a difficult task, one in which Azrael would have to lose a lot to manage to defeat or seriously injure Endoxes, so, upon learning that Pol Qo's horn attempted to control Endoxes by some strange method, he knew it was imperative to take the horn under his control.
"I will fight Pol Qo!" Azrael said to Endoxes, as he unsheathed his sword, "Keep any warriors that come near us both at bay!" With that last being said, Azrael stepped out of Endoxes' protection and ran to where Pol Qo was standing. Ready to end the life of the man who deigned to confront him.
The warriors protecting Pol Qo ran to protect their emperor once they saw Azrael heading towards him, only to fly away when Endoxes flapped his wings and sent a gust of wind that sent everyone flying.
Pol Qo, seeing that the fight was about to begin and not having his hammer nearby, took two swords from his warriors and prepared to face Azrael, who was already coming towards him.
When the two came close enough to touch if they took three more steps, Azrael extended his sword arm and made a fanning motion, swinging his Netherite steel sword with surprising force. A crisp zas could be heard in the air.
Pol Qo raised one of his two swords in record time, parrying Azrael's blow but leaving his arm numb. Using his other arm, he swung it from bottom to top to make a vertical slash at Azrael, who was still applying force with his sword to Pol Qo's right arm.
"Piing!"
To Pol Qo's lousy luck, Azrael parried his attack, grabbing the sword blade with his metal gauntlet and then kicking Pol Qo in the stomach, forcing him to fall flat on his back.
"You would have lived longer if you hadn't meddled with Xandar," Azrael said, attacking Pol Qo while still on the ground, only shielding himself from the attacks with one of his blades.
"You are nothing, Jaesyrian, and if I don't assassinate you, someone else will. You won't be able to rest a day waiting for someone to take away everything you have built, starting with that Carcosi woman... ARGH!" Whatever Pol Qo was about to say stuck in his throat, a product of Azrael's sword in his chest.
Azrael, with a cold and merciless face, had unceremoniously pierced Pol Qo's chest, furious at the words Pol Qo had said, "and I will face him as I always do, at the point of sword and whip," Azrael replied, seeing how Pol Qo's eyes had lost their brightness.
"ROOOAR!" In the background, Endoxes was still attacking the city, holding off the Yitian warrior Pol Qo, giving Azrael room to fight Pol Qo calmly.
Sighing, Azrael pulled the sword from Pol Qo's chest, then brought it down and cut off his head. Ready to end the bloodshed once and for all. "Endoxes!" Azrael called out to his friend, who parried his attack as he was called, reaching Azrael moments later.
Azrael took the strange horn from Pol Qo's corpse, seeing it up close—a jet-black horn inscribed with strange symbols. It was a weird and powerful contraption if the words Endoxes spoke were actual. "Come on, let's get this over with. I want to go home." Azrael spoke weary, climbing upon Endoxes and heading towards the rage of battle, where the Horde was still engaged against the Jhogos Nhai warriors.

Upon learning that it was the horn that was controlling the stone giants, Azrael decided to end the fight quickly before the losses on both sides were too significant, so he took flight on Endoxes and led him to the battlefield where the Horde was facing the sea of Jhogos Nhai.
Azrael understood that the combat would not be stopped quickly, so he opted for the quickest route: to show higher power than the others. Seeing that the Horde was pushed towards where the firewyrms were fighting the Jhogwins, he decided to interfere and thus prevent the Horde from suffering.
"Endoxes, attack in the middle of the Horde and the Nhai Jhogwins, but do not continue the attack; stop once the first blow hits the ground." Having been guided about what he would have to do, Endoxes roared and flew quickly toward the battle's eye.
Once Endoxes was above the chosen spot, he wasted no time and let out his breath. However, this time he did not delay in preparing it because it was much less destructive than when he attacked Bazar, so the attack did not take long to come out and reach the battlefield, where it hit the first row of Jhogos Nhai that was closest to the Horde, destroying the momentum and stopping the battle for a moment.
Wanting to take advantage of the opportunity, Azrael told the Endoxes to fly over the Jhogos Nhai, look for a peaceful route to stop their attack, and thus avoid exterminating them more than they already were.
Endoxes obeyed and proceeded to hover over the Jhogos Nhai at a certain height to avoid blowing them away with the flapping of his wings, but close enough so that Azrael's voice could be heard.
"Your leader is dead. There is no more reason to keep fighting without a leader telling you what to do, so surrender now, or I will be forced to take stricter measures!" Azrael addressed all the Nhai Jhogos below him. He didn't know if they understood him since he didn't know the exact language the Nhai Jhogos used, but they would understand the message that Pol Qo's head would give.
So, without remorse or struggle, Azrael took Pol Qo's head and dropped it to the ground, which fell on top of the Jhogos Nhai.
On the ground, Pol Qo's head fell, producing a morbid sound, getting dirty with dirt and dust, until it landed at the feet of a Zorse of one of the Jhogos Nhai, which came down from its mount and took the head.
Pol Qo's head was available for all to see, understanding that their leader was dead, a product of the man lying on top of the flying beast, and with no other choice, the man holding Pol Qo's head dropped it to the ground and then fell to his two knees.
The nearby Jhogos Nhai followed this movement until they all knelt before their new leader, realizing they could no longer fight.
Azrael, in the air, watching the Jhogos Nhai surrender, smiled in relief. If they did not surrender, the fight would spread further, involving more deaths, which would be unforgivable for Azrael, especially since he was counting on taking Pol Qo's army.
But seeing that the fighting had stopped, Azrael asked Endoxes to fly to where the fire worms were since the stone giants were still fighting, showing no signs of stopping,
"ROOAR!" Endoxes roared, imposing his presence on everyone, flying towards where the Jhogwins were, ready to exterminate them if necessary. Unfortunately for him, that was not necessary.
For once, both Endoxes and Azrael arrived on the scene. Azrael proceeded to blow the horn Pol Qo had used, but now to stop the stone giants, which yielded positive results when they remained static, dropping their weapons and remaining motionless.
The battle ceased in its entirety.
