Avery Miller found herself on the verge of tears, overwhelmed by waves of pain that consumed her from below. 

Clutching the sheets tightly, she bit her lip, striving to remain silent amidst the discomfort.

By the break of dawn, Ethan Montgomery had already left. 

As Avery awakened, her eyes, barely open, were met with sunlight streaming through the window, blinding her momentarily. 

Shielding her eyes from the gentle rays, she managed to sit up, feeling utterly drained, the soreness below yet to subside. 

Attempting to stand, her legs, weak and unsteady, nearly gave way beneath her.

Heading to the bathroom, she quickly showered, her mind replaying the events of the previous night. 

His every breath, the gentle caresses, and the intense moments of entanglement lingered in her thoughts.
